Bruce, a few things:

once support is broken (+- $ 30 in this case) it becomes resistance.
it doesn't matter what was the reason, the news, that triggered the breakdown, it happened, people sold at those prices (with huge volume) and that's all that matters.

after the initial break of support there's usually a retest of resistance, that's what we saw on friday, like clockwork.

if this retest fails, meaning it cannot surpass this new resistance (around $ 30-33) on a closing basis, that confirms the downtrend.

it doesn't matter what Bill Coleman says or how many times he reaffirms guidance.
the market is smarter than Bill Coleman or any other individual.
it represents the collective wisdom of thousands of participants.
and right now mr. market is re-evaluating how much it wants to pay for BEAS, with or without increased guidance.

right now BEAS is barely "clinging" at this precarious weekly support, i don't think it will hold.

now i'm asking you, do you really think this co., or CHKP, have any *sustainable* competitive advantage? what stops a determined big cap competitor from wiping these companies from the face of the earth?
