All the court records list Manuel P Asensio as a defendant. He is described as a Senior Vice President for Steinberg & Lyman a New York Corp.

I spoke with the Plaintiffs law office and they confirmed that the defendant Manual P Asensio is the same Manual P. Asensio of Asensio & CO.

$248,250.00 at 12 percent interest for 8 years. His latest Emergency Motion to Dismiss was denied on 3-7-97. I guess they didn't believe his doorman.

Business Week should check out their sources more closely. Gives Short sellers a bad name.
