Deadhead invents time machine, pronounces it "Useless"
jambands.com
John Cook of Terrapin Technologies has announced the creation and prompt destruction
of a time machine. The machine could travel both forward and backwards in time.
According to Cook though, the machine had one fatal flaw. It could not travel within 100
years of the present time and, "Well who would want that? We had state of the art video
and audio equipment. We were going to return with pristine copies of the Europe 72 tour,
the free shows in San Francisco, the Acid Tests!!!! This thing is a piece of junk! All it can
do is show us stuff like ancient Rome and the creation of the universe. Who cares about
that?"

The plans for the machine have been locked in a safe deposit box. There are strict
orders to not open it until 2069.
