Don's post only seemed silly because you missed the point of it, as you did in the case of Mephisto's post. You might want to revisit the original posts to see if you can determine what the points really were [Hint: they were quite clearly stated]... I'll give you another chance to miss the point... President Bush promises Schroeder that he will attempt to influence the US Courts into not accepting any civil suits against Germany wrt Nazi war crimes...it seems like there might be a question here about separation of powers and lobbying the courts to deny access of plaintiffs to the judicial system. One could even go so far as to suggest that such attempts would be an abuse of power. regards, jttmab
