Economically speaking a family making 100k per year is 2x better off than one making 50k per year despite the fact that family 2 has Mom at home and a richer life [perhaps] and in the long run may actually add much more to society in the long run. The data on the positive effects on kids and their future of stay at home moms is substantial. DAK
