Syntel and BEA Systems Form an Alliance to Provide E-Business Solutions

TROY, Mich., April 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Syntel (Nasdaq: SYNT - news), a leading e-Business and Applications Outsourcing firm today announced an alliance with BEA Systems, Inc., one of the world's leading e-Business infrastructure software companies, intended to deliver e-Business software to Global 2000 companies. In addition, Syntel has joined the BEA Star Partner Program.
Under the agreement, Syntel plans to provide implementation services for e-commerce solutions built on the BEA WebLogic® E-Business Platform, with the market-leading BEA WebLogic Server(TM). Presently, Syntel and BEA are working together to implement a BEA WebLogic-based solution for a Fortune 100 customer in the financial services industry. The relationship will enable BEA and Syntel to work together to develop highly scalable, Java-based solutions that allow businesses to design, build and run applications for enabling e-Business.
