MSFT will be a financial disaster if the stock closes below 55 this month. All those puts they sold over the last 2 years are finally catching up with them. Every financial resource available to MSFT, including their cash positions and relationships with brokerages, will be used to keep the stock above 55. So basically feel free to write all the sub-55 puts you want. If anyone will buy them, it's guaranteed free money. The consequences of MSFT going lower than here are so high that it simply will not happen.
