A note to all that tried to help, my sincere thanks... Some of you will remember my problem with "Freeze up". For no apparent reason my computer would freeze and I would have to reboot. I had many suggestions on how to fix this problem they all were appreciated and I learned a lot through this process. Ended up fixing many other "Annoying" problems as a result and continue to read every post. Well anyhow last night my wife and I happened upon one of the local beach bars to watch the sunset, which was beautiful I might add, and I ran into an old friend… Well we got to talking and he tells me he is working with computers. Great I think maybe he has a suggestion for the freeze up problem. Then it occurred to me he was having a problem staying on top of his bar stool. His motor functions and all the beer he had been drinking were not mixing very well. Well I thought I would ask anyway… He proceeds to ask me if I had done this and that Yes I had the people at CL thread had suggested these things. Well what about this and that … Yes I had done those also…well then try this… Right click on your wallpaper go to properties, Click on settings then advanced click the monitor tab, take the check out of the box reset display on suspend/resume…He then proceeded off his stool staggering off not to be seen again. Well I thought I would try this if I could remember it. This morning I did what he said amazed at my own memory and Viola it is fixed.. Again thanks for all the help here and maybe this will help someone. Steve Ps Just goes to show how beautiful a sunset is … PSS anybody know what I actually did. In other words what is this suspend resume and what is it responsible for…
