gbh: I did read the article, and it is just plain wrong in the assertion that ALL the alternative service provider are ALL in debt up to their eyebrows...and your assertion that NONE of them have money to spend is flat wrong too...we will see over the next few months who will emerge as the next generation service providers...personally, I like 360 Networks for one...there will be room for many more...it may even be one of the "heritage" companies, but I doubt it... IBM, Cray, CDC (not CRC as I mistyped earlier) all had blue chip ratings...and that did NOTHING for them in the computer revolution...Suria and you are right about survival, the companies will survive, just not in the same business we have been discussing...
