Mrs. Peel, mostly a scary list even more negative news on ARBA and CMRC today, and of course the SOX
has broken down through the base it had been trying to make since late Nov today.

14:46 ET Ariba (ARBA) 6 29/32 -1 (-12.6%): -- Update -- Stock making new all-time low, on heavy volume of 23.8 mln shares (1.3x avg. daily turnover). Continue to see exodus from ARBA amid speculation that company will preannounce its quarter. Talk beginning to pick up that warning will occur this week. Similar rumors in the market involving Commerce One (CMRC 8.06 -1.27).//

and ITWO also has downbeat news:

07:12 ET i2 Technologies (ITWO) 14 1/2: -- Update -- Given the current economic environment and the associated decrease in revenue visibility, company reassessing its guidance for 2001 and is planning to take measures to reduce its cost structure by 5%-10%; cost containment measures may involve 10% workforce reduction.

07:05 ET i2 Technologies (ITWO) 14 1/2: -- Update -- Supply chain management software company guides down Q1 outlook to approx. $0.02 per share, compared to EPS of $0.06 anticipated by analysts. Puts total revenues at $355 mln (mean $351 mln). Company cites delay in purchasing decisions by customers for EPS shortfall. (Competitors: MANU, ORCL, SAP, ARBA, CMRC, PRGN)
