IRVING AND HOUSTON, TEXAS (June 9) BUSINESS WIRE -June 9, 1997--Bermac
Communications, Inc. and Interliant, both Lotus Premium Partners, today
announced an alliance to offer companies a revolutionary and economical
way to automate their salesforce by renting a turnkey sales support
solution. The solution integrates Bermac"s award-winning SalesWare(R)
Suite, including SalesWare MES(TM); and Salesware OMS(TM), with
Interliant"s World Wide Web hosting service. The SalesWare Rental
solution will be available through the World Wide Web and through the
Interliant Notes network in June 1997.
"Bermac has leveraged their expertise in the multimedia applications
sector to deliver a powerful sales process automation application suite
in SalesWare. Now, by bundling their applications with Interliant"s
hosting service and offering the resulting package for a fixed monthly
fee, they"ve taken their product a step beyond, effectively eliminating
the costly delays and capital outlays typically associated with the
adoption of SFA systems," said Clint Patterson, Interliant Director of
Business Development.

"We have worked with Interliant on several projects and are impressed
with their ability to integrate technologies to deliver innovative
solutions around the world," commented Gene McCalmont, President of
Bermac. "We are excited about the opportunity to work with them to
deliver creative, affordable sales automation solutions."

SalesWare MES delivers a catalog of multimedia marketing information to
the field such as full-motion video testimonials and demos, audio clips,
graphics and spreadsheets. Users pick the slides, graphics and video
clips they need from the catalog to develop customized presentations
quickly and easily. SalesWare OMS, an easily tailored opportunity
management system, has telemarketing, call planning, call debrief,
forecasting and pipeline analysis modules, as well as links to pertinent
information in SalesWare MES.

Both products support Speed-Driven Selling(TM), a Bermac service which
uses technology to accelerate a company"s sales process by automating
the administrative tasks, providing easy access to updated company
information and taking full advantage of new communication options.
Additionally, Bermac offers consulting and creative services to help
client companies develop multimedia presentation materials that can be
used in SalesWare.

Interliant"s Lotus Notes(R)/Domino(TM) hosting, global presence and
administrative expertise provide the missing elements for rapid delivery
of a global SalesWare solution. By outsourcing the infrastructure and
management issues to Interliant, corporations can leverage the
competitive advantages of SalesWare without tapping into internal
resources for network management, administration, integration or support
issues. Clients are also able to leverage new technologies such as
wireless communications as they become available on the Interliant
network.

Interliant leverages emerging technologies to enable organizations to
construct the virtual communities essential for the success of group
ventures. Companies use Interliant to share public or corporate
databases, to publish on the World Wide Web, to exchange e-mail, and to
connect multiple offices worldwide. In addition to dedicated or dial-up
X.25 access, companies also can connect to Interliant"s network over
1-800 numbers in North America, the Internet and frame relay. Interliant
network services have been commercially available since January 1, 1994
and includes 24 hour a day, seven days a week technical support.
Interliant is a Lotus Premium Business Partner.
