russett, I want to do the same thing eventually. Proxim has some info proxim.com Intel also sells cards for establishing a wireless LAN. I think the field is in flux and new types of cards will be out later this year. Dell has a wireless home networking option for it's laptops configure.us.dell.com I'd be interested in what you decide to buy and how well it works. gottfried
