It is just stunning to me that you believe it is OK for Bush not to help a state because they have voted for the other party in their elections.

But I do believe both that you believe that this is right and that Bush does what he does for the reasons you suggest (in addition to helping his friends). Somehow, I dimly recall Bush saying that he would be the President for "all" Americans, not just those who voted for him. Oh well, guess he had his fingers crossed.

If just some of the allegations about El Paso Power, Enron, and the CA utilities are correct, if they have in fact sprung a trap into which the state has fallen--and if it can be proven somehow--then this whole affair will go down as one of the most corrupt scandels since... well who knows since when.
