Dear Scumbria: It's a lot cleaner than the outside around Boulder. Your children probably get muddy every time it rains. Besides, coal fired plants emit more radiation than a nuclear plant. So do natural gas fired ones. Radon is emitted from being trapped in with the gas, oil, or coal not to mention C-13 thats present in all carbon. A typical fossil fueled plant emits millions of tons a year and thus all of the radon trapped as well. Your house may even seep with it. Ever check? Pete
