Gregg do check the history of King Asoka....

H G Wells in a " Short History of the World "

called Asoka's reign one of the brightest in ancient man's History... and Mr Wells was not given freely often with such praise of any Pharaoh, King or Ceasar back then...

I am only playing the Angel's advocate with
you on these matters ...but one of the
best golden ages of the ancient world had ever seen
was born from the teachings of Buddha, long before
Christianity was born.

I only want you to understand that the influence
of certain spiritually oriented men in
the ancient world had a tremendous & profound influence
on the minds and imaginations
of men and women, set by living
what they preached.

It is a fool's game to
place one over the other or condemn.
Buddha certainly "walked the walk " and more,
for he was no mere Prophet or Prophesy,
he was the both of them fulfilled.

It would be the gravest error for any Christian,
Moslem, Jain or Jew , to ever doubt for a moment
that Buddha didn't have something
to teach them all of the highest order.

you could say ----->he had his soul
very much together .

If there is a " Christian Heaven " Gregg , you
can be assured that Jesus , Buddha's little brother
will be sitting right there beside him !

regards,

;-)
