Guns can also be used as coat stands; mortars can make nice flower pots. Hang a line between two howitzers, and you can dry a whole load of laundry. Small handguns make great party favors, and in a pinch can be inconspicously substituted for candy during Halloween.

I'm sure there are many other uses. However, as far as the intended purpose, I still maintain that their usefulness is to kill. Rifles at least can be used on game; handguns strictly go after human game.
