How do you people up North take stand it? Tom, it's like the Corps. It builds character. I'm going to have a lot better character when this particular winter is over, as it has been the worst in people's memory up here in Maine. We still have a 2 to 3 foot ground cover of snow which should last us comfortably into May. That's down from 5 feet in places where there were no drifts. It's been mighty hard on my Goldens, who still disappear into crevasses as they make their way around what used to be a backyard. Added to the greatest market crash in history, the energy crisis, and now war threatening in five or six different places -- all I can say is that this is one hell of a way to kick off a new century.
