Here's a very simple, five-year, line chart of the Nasdaq.

On it you can identify some highs and lows that may be relevant, as we try to find a bottom here.
I've used closing prices for this chart.

I've marked two of them.

October 1997, the Nasdaq had a high of 1739.0

October 1998, the Nasdaq had a low of 1492.4

I hope we are finished testing these three to five year lows.
If not, we may see some of these numbers again.
