For someone who is retired and says he's 90-95% invested, how can a portfolio that must have declined around 90% in the last 12 months result in a year 2000 move up from a san fernando condo to an ocean view compound that the guy himself describes as a beautiful home?

it is hard to envision a scenario where that kind of math computes .....
