I'm not sure we'll drop near term, Max. I think the market in general is looking to go up, but waiting for the right conditions. China makes people nervous. When that plane thing is settled, we'll go up big. I've been to China over a dozen times. This will blow over. It's no big deal. China needs the US right now for its huge appetite for Chinese products. Without the US, China is in deep trouble. They just want to tie the return of the crew and plane to some concession on the part of the US. There are a lot of touchy issues, and the US can't budge on most of them - (Fulan Gong people, dissidents, Tibet, missile technology exports, etc.) What China will ask for is a moratorium on US arms exports to Taiwan. The US may counter with a delay of some exports tied to reduction in missile and technology transfers to rogue countries. This could be something that could be sold to the politico's on both sides. The only problem is that this could take days, and days the market does not have.
