Finova's been close to BK for some time, so the results don't surprise me. Other insurance companies are in great shape, and dropping interest rates help the sector. As for AG, many have forgotten that a couple of years ago he warned about "irrational exhuberence." He was right then, and right now the market is correcting for grossly overvalued stock prices, particularly tech stocks. I haven't taken a position yet in JDSU, but am waiting for a clear bottom. I have been aggressively buying some other techs recently on the weakness, but don't think JDSU has hit bottom yet. Maybe I'll buy in the low teens.
