vagabond52 re: all about FLACK

Hi, vagabond.
Thanks so much for your kind words.
As heehee (from Drbob's board) has said,
this market has been a FLACK ATTACK :-)
I've had a great year and I hope that I've been
successful in passing on some information about playing
the Dark Side (selling short).

You know me pretty well and you know that it's not
my intent to counter anything that Zen recommends.
He seems to be willing to take on more risk than me
and when his style works, it can generate huge rewards.
I'm more the grind-it-out-and-make-money-every-day kind of
trader who plays only high probability opportunities.
I like the odds tilted in my favor rather than against me.

"I'm a positive person, just like Zen(I love Zen's style).."

Believe it or not, I think of myself as a positive sort
of person too. Really!
I've never understood why people think selling short
is a "negative" thing. For me, it's just "the other way"
to play the market... like turning left instead of
always turning right. Sometimes you have to make a left-hand
turn to get where you're going.

Treaders say The Trend is Your Friend.
But saying it, and being able to act on that principle,
are obviously two different things.
So, why is it that most people can not follow the
trend when it's headed down? The trend is either your friend
all the time or that expression is hogwash.
I happen to believe that it's too risky to fight
the trend (momentum). Or, maybe I just don't have
the "guts" that it takes to be the first on my block
to attempt catch the bottom. I prefer to let the risk takers
get the ball rolling... and for the past year there
have been a lot of them calling the bottom and buying
on the dips... and a lot of them are now gone,
probably back to their old day jobs.

I think there are two ways to get rich playing the market,
you can trade by your heart or trade by the chart.
I've seen people with lots of heart trying to
out smart
this downward slide and they have gotten their
hearts handed to them.
In short, we can try to take it away from the market
or we can take what the market gives us.

Hope you're doing well these days.
Your Dark friend,
FLACK
