Much the same thing occurred at this end last year. I was more than shy about getting aboard the down elevator and missed moves on many of my favourites. Hateful when the homework gets done and the pay-off is nil.

That said, it was still a good year and this year is shaping up as a beauty. Still being cautious, but foraging ever farther out from the weed patch. (g)

MU is heading for single digits. As I noted earlier, the breakup of a "fund club" stock begins with a few quiet departures and ends with a rush for the fire exits. The side door has already been bent on its hinges. (g)
