BBY sales bounce, mortgage refinancing, increase in housing sales (or not as much a drop) - all these are consumers' knee jerk reactions to sttep rate cuts in quick succession. In reality, not many consumers who are better off today can not or may not want to imagine bad things 1 year down the road!
