Astute traders? Like "wise gamblers," (1)<Where did you see me make that criticism?> Post 56066. Prudent, not astute, but close enough. (2)<Maybe you're confusing me with somebody else> I would never do that. (3)<Astute traders? Like "wise gamblers,"> What do you call the so called, Long Term Investors, who have been, ruined is a strong word, but it would apply to many. (4)<guessed the timing incorrectly> How can buying when a analyst is recommending a stock in realtime on national TV be called guessing. (5)<But when the market sours> Now that's just plumb silly. The ones who have taken it in the mouth this downturn have been the long term players. Day & Swing traders not only have saved money by not holding through this carnage, they have made money with their trading skills. Don't take my word for it, I have offered info to a FREE chatroom by pm'ing me. The bagholders keep posting how smart they are by buying and holding, some with 14 year plans, they are wasting both time and money. Many money managers make swing trades when the market is due to bounce or turn down. You do not understand short term trading therefore you should not criticize it publicly until you know what you are talking about, and if you don't agree I will be glad to debate, post back & forth some weekend, but you will never know the truth until you lurk some good chatroom for how ever long it takes you to understand. I've been in realtime chatrooms since 1996 and have paid my dues. My post are winners and make money while your post are just hot air. I will be happy to compare back post with you and see who has made the MONEY. Frog |
