Zen, as I recall you were thinking 1825 was a/the bottom
for some reason ... 1835 looked more like the upper
bound of a steep downtrend to me. As it turned out,
NAS did reach 1850 or so before correcting course
and heading back down.

personally I thought 2K would be The bottom, but
I got a strong "top" signal from my personal indicator
at 2760, just after the Jan 3 FOMC cut the market
became extremely overbought - after that NAS headed up to about 2800 - but the signal was good for 1100 pts of drop
this time; I'm sorry I didn't buy puts as my paper-trading
strategy dictated! I don't think my indicator
has signalled a bottom yet.
