Softechie: In addition to Dan Niles, the CNBC "Head Honcho" host last Friday was the Dallas Mavericks basketball team owner, and former internet high-flyer, Marc Cuban. He is one of the few internet winners, selling his company to Yahoo for 6 billion in 1999 prior to the bursting of the internet bubble.

When asked what he was investing, he said (in effect) --

"Are you kidding?" I'm 100% cash." He said that anyone buying or holding stocks long in the teeth of a bear market was nuts. He also said that "it is never too late to sell" if you didn't think your investments would make money.

He is much smarter than all of the other ANAL-ysts combined that parade through CNBC. Small wonder he is worth 2 billion.
