Naw...Just a knee jerk response to the general market weakness combined with the "sky is falling" interpretation of INTC's PR copy threatening competitiveness in Y2001...AMD shareholders are not all aware that AMD's Q1 financials will look after themselves and, in fact, look outstanding compared to INTC's...much as was the case in Y2000...Just some of those "weak-handed" shares getting dumped in the false belief that when INTC sneezes, AMD gets a cold...Just isn't that way any longer...In fact, quite the contrary....AMD's ongoing success seems to have resulted in an INTC migraine and the debilittation that often accompanies same...Q1 results will demonstrate graphically just how undervalued AMD's shares are at $24.00 vis a vis INTC's at $25.80!!! By the way, about time for AMD to lead another crossover charge, isn't it???
