Mongo ,Re: " tell us when you buy and sell ". I bought a small amount today just to round off my original position that I started reconstituting on Friday @ 43.However I will continue to buy it on the way down just like I did last time ( if it goes down this time also ). The purpose of this is to excange useful information ot this thread from all the " conoscenti " to help improve our trading " swing " so to speak. What is going on with Vivus at this time? Any guesses? First of is the market being manipulated? Well Milliken is in jail; Did somebody replace him? Anybody out ther that sees a plot please come forth and tell us. Volume was down today and bid/ask tight.: almost reminds us of when the stock was trading for a few days around 30.6 - 33.7.R.Singer is the stock basing again? Low volume may indicate not too many individual investors; ? institutions? Dale do you think somebody is holding the price of the stock artificially high and preventing it from falling to -- the 20s? I look at it from a valuation viewpoint:it is still quite cheap. Somebody has their figures wrong here.Daily charts has EPS of $1.60 for '97 at current capacity;If in Nov they will increse capaciy from 5 ( to 10 ? ) times shouldn't EPS go up higher than the recorded $2.95 ? Forward pe is 15 . It is encouraging that famous Presstek talked about this am in Wall St J. for it's recent increase had a PE of 900 last year when it reached $ 200. By the same token based on current Estim. EPS when Vivus reaches $ 100?! it will have a current PE of 62 and a'98 PE of only 33.If you relate that to a 500%? growth rate ( production increase of 5 times ) then a PE of 33 actually appears excassively cheap. Dale i have a hard time NOT running these calculations in my mind from time to time. There you are Mongo.What do you think of all these numbers? Just hype? Your considerate oopinion appreciated.
