this is why i like the ny fed money page

the ny fed which did the work registers only $2B in 28 day repurchases on 4/2/01. the 5.5B is just overnight, and it was from this morning. there is a conflict between what the ny fed says and yahoo. that is why i use the ny fed info. certainly the fed has been injecting (regardless of fed funds rate) almost every day for a long time. that is why i didn't think there was much of a news day on the buck.
