Hi Bud, I'm sure the horror stories will start to show up in the press some time soon. The only one I heard of was the accountant who was seriously afraid to give the client the bill for $1000 for tax preparation when the person also owed Uncle Sam big time for "trading profits" taken last year on a portfolio that's now seriously under water. That's small time compared to losing one's residence. Let's hope there's not too many people out there in such shape. Here's an odd thought that crossed my mind recently. Know when the last epidemic of Hoof and Mouth disease occurred? 1929. Was that coincidence or did it contribute to the Great Depression? I've never heard it discussed. At that time a significant portion of our economy was still agriculture. Now we have a huge "service industry" - would it be sustainable if a serious recession occurred? Best regards, Tom
