I dont know the answer to the above but it is quite a good quote.
There seems to be a lot of shorting still going on reports CNBC and this "will continue until it doesnt work anymore." That is not a profound statement but it is also true. When the market turns shorts covering their positions should give us a real strong rally--tbd later whether bull or bear variety.
We should get an attempt at a rally tomorrow so let us hope. In 1987 we turned sharply and went up for a couple of days straight as i remember. I have no guts to buy but with all that money on the sidelines, somebody will try. Mike
