re: "I mean look at sunw and jdsu for example....both are under $15 now arent't they." Yep, and look at cmgi -- $2. It looked like a bargain at $15, then at $8 and at $6.

Mayhem is the word that keeps coming to me. I feel like Howard the Duck.

I only have small positions now in NTAP and JNPR -- I mean REALLY small -- like 200 shares each. Sold my JNPR addition for a $2 loss shortly after I bought it, and sold some of my remaining position as well. Out of JDSU completely. This whole thing brings to mind a company named Sykes Datatronics back 20 years or so ago. I remember watching it go from $1 to $60, and then back to $1 in a few months.

These things will turn around. "When" is a good question. It doesn't help to have our esteemed leader pissing off the Chinese, whether they deserve it or not. Without trying to make a generalization of an entire group of people, it has been my experience in business that the Chinese do not like being told how to do their business -- an admirable quality under most circumstances.

The main thing we have going for us is that so many people have gone to cash. There are people on this board who are all cash. My cash percentage is high, and a good chunk of my remaining stocks are non-tech. At some point we run out of sellers.
