Why would Matsushita sign a multi-million dollar license deal for QCOM's CDMA IPR, If they were going to pay and use IDCC's IPR for WCDMA.?

Use the following link and check under Subscriber Equipment, and you'll see that Matsushita is already a QCOM licensee.
