Ah, you still retain your studious mind-set. I must admit that economics generally leaves me less than breathless. OTH, I loved reading about the market and the machinations of some of its prime movers, the lives and times of folk in those days, etc. One result: I'm not at all surprised to see the 'herd' shocked, dismayed, and disturbed at what's going on now. But, of course, I've also witnessed this behavior in previous bears. My great surprise is that we might be witnessing a repeat of that hallmark period. R
