I agree. It always seemed weird to me why people couldn't accept BOTH creationism and evolution. So God created everything in 6 days; do we have to take that as literally 6 Earth days? Couldn't it be 6 'God' days? Seems perfectly logical to me that a supreme being would design some universe creation plan, and have it follow the physical laws that He set up.

Creationism vs evolution is just a smoke screen for belief vs non-belief. If the argument focused on that, I think it would be more productive.
