mark, read recently that MGM closed up their amusement park recently. i'm sure it was a bottom line driven decision. imho, rooms are kind of a moot aspect of being in l.v. after all, you just really don't spend that much time in them. the frontier is very old. i think the last time i stayed there i played blackjack at a table with milton berle. but, for the price it will probably prove to be good enough. i stayed at the venetian to attend a wedding last year. having gold fixtures in the bathroom didn't enhance my staying experience one iota. very, very crowded! sk
