Nokia glitch could crimp 3G plans

I was wondering how long it would take for that particular spin to emerge. It's Verizon that continues to buy NOK phones. It's VOD that's alleged to want to defer the decision on CDMA 2000. Will VOD use this problem to press its argument?

I agree with an earlier poster, and I've mentioned it here before myself - I question whether VOD is much of a Q* ally. Their utter lack of commitment to G* is absolutely remarkable, and, one can only hope, actionable. If a VOD / Verizon war is to break out, better now when everything is bleeding. Best scenario imho would be for Verizon to withstand an all out assault from VOD and then isolate them from any future decisions regarding Verizon's technology and time frame.
