Amy, Re: Is the report wrong? I won't be surprised :-). Intel said, it will be years before Itanium can take over IA32. If it is refering to the processor revenue, even assuming Itanium represent 50% of all processor Intel sell by 2003, it means annual revenue of processor alone exceed 50B, that is impossible. I believe the writer didn't even bother to read what he/she write or don't bother to clarify it with whoever mentioned the figure, journalism ! gary
