Tech will be down for years? My bet is investors will be very very reluctant to jump back into tech with two feet and try and repeat anything close to the absurd mania we are unwinding. I would hope some of this frenzy would focus in energy, but I am not counting on it. When tech does start improving, you will have the same problem you have with energy today. You will need to pick your stocks very carefully and not just buy tech. Anyone who bought highly visible OSX stocks like SLB, RIG or HAL last Summer surely did not enjoy performance similar to WFT, NE.
