Recent retail survey showed slow down in the last week of March. I did notice AMES did heavy week end TV advertising of loss leaders and the two day sales event.

While the management is holding gross margins steady and held the costs down; they closed stores and opened new ones. The new $800 million credit from GE helped. The management still has to achieve maximum profit, paying higher interest rate now. We all have to hold our breath and stay on the watch for the results.

In the mean time, the stock has die hard investors making overbought, a steady diet. Overbought pulls back the price of stock, oversold does not seem likely in the near future. At best this can only be a trading stock.

Daytrading, anyone?
