Paul, Re: NVDA

Red Herring has a current (April 15) article about NVDA & its competitor ATYT. Here are some small snippets:

NVDA percent of sales from PC's was 90% last year - expected to be 55% this year. New non-PC deals with MSFT XBOX & NVDA replaced ATI in the exclusive Apple suppliers contract.

As of March 9 when NVDA was $50:
mktCap=3.3b, forward p/e=29.2 p/s=4.5

ATI has warned twice this year about rev's and profits.

ANALyst Michael Kim w/ Sutro & Company says price target is $100 in 12 months. (I know ANALyst targtets are now considered jokes but perhaps still influence hopeful money managers)

Seems that entertainment maintains resistance for the current environment - ERTS has also been a tough nut to crack but seems to be weakening.
