This asset bubble seems to be deflating all on its own - what good would it do anyone if the Fed adopted more deflationary policies in order to accelerate it? All that would do would be to force people to liquidate whether they want to or not. I don't think anyone really knows what to do but they did what you recommend in the 1930's and it blew up in their faces. They won't do that again.

Anyway, the casino is open and I've got to get back to work.
