ed...my experience comes from being there, not from what I read. Can't disagree with the psychology of the country...you're probably right. However, too much infrastructure is in place, both physically and mentally, to ignore.

PRC is going western. How fast they get there is another story. Don't think the hardliners will stick to their ideology over a plane that was trashed by its crew before it landed.
