I seem to recall seeing something about CDN having a contract with Lucent a few weeks back. I don't know the extent of it but it wouldn't be uncommon for large companies like Lucent to have multiple suppliers in critical areas. Perhaps this is one of those cases where a company splits it's business and sees what happens.

Don't have any idea about their Q2 earnings, but my long term observation is that price changes in this stock gives no indication of earnings.

CDN seems to have a good strategy and isn't encumbered with suits as AVNT is. Also, MENT has weak management and may not represent much of a threat to CDN, AVNT.
