Glenn: "Well..I can't speak for Bill but I do believe Yahoo needs to expand to fee based services in addition to the advertising model. In the mean time, the advertising model is clearly not growing." A very risky move which can only be considered in light of a broader transition to a fee for service internet -- the model is not exactly proven and they are going to have to "bet the farm". They really have no choice but to roll the dice. If it works they could do well -- but if it goes poorly?
