Gee, I wasn't even aware that GWB was flying the plane. Bill Clinton didn't hold a candle alright, but he let Monica hold the cigar. Clinton gave away so many secrets to China, that this whole issue may be mute.
It seems that a well placed cruise missile with a conventional payload would have done the trick. After all if we can bomb their embassy with pinpoint accuracy, we should be able to hit a large airplane; our airplane.
If Gore was in there, he would have put them all to sleep, and we could just go in and fly it out with another crew.
It would be clever, would it not, to load one of these spy planes up with antiquated equipment, with added complex chips that don't work, with systems that are thrown together and look like they really do something, but don't actually work. Yet they looked like they certainly did work until they were damaged when smashed a few times with an ax. Then add some data that is pure jibberish, make it look like code, and mark it "TOP SECRET", then let it fall into China's hands in tact. It would keep their top engineers and cryptographers busy for years and keep them misled for a decade if it was done just right.
But the problem would be, you see; how would we get this trumped up plane to China in tact without arousing suspicion. Hmmmm? Any ideas?
