Doesn't Amazon already offer an electronic book? Doesn't really matter. The market isn't really ready for full scale electronic distribution of media products. But if you are a publisher and there is no risk in the distribution process (ie: electronically), wouldn't you cut out the middleman? (ie: the retail distributor). I am one of those loonies that actually thinks that the internet revolution has barely started and that the major growth and opportunities are still ahead of us. I am definitely not a bear on the overall internet market opportunity (long term). I hope that I am right on some of my views going forward and I make public picks too. I will very likely be wrong on a number of them (and have been in the past, as recently as Monday). This doesn't necessarily invalidate every opinion that I have posted though.
