Richard -

I understand the purpose of the BBB scan and in all honest believe it is the basis of for stock selection for virtually all that post on this board.

My concern is that if you limit your stock selection to the BBB scan ( a wise move ) you are limiting the "window" on buy signals of a given system to those that meet the BBB criteria and the system buy criteria.

In testing a system I don't include the BBB criteria in my historical testing. I'm wondering what effect the scan criteria would make on rating different TA systems.

As a very wild example....What if a system were created that was 100% accurate but the buy signals never coincided with the criteria of a CCC scan. The end result would be a system that would never signal a buy.

Like I said before, I am probably just blowing smoke but thought it was worth mentioning.

Richard ... Thank you for your efforts and vigilence, you're greatly appreciated
