"im still battling the linear vs. log approach."

i have done so myself. i do notice that with trendlines one gets in faster with a linear and out faster with log.

pring thinks it wise to look at long term charts with log, but says no big deal on short term.

i also have used log on long term H&S pattern break to measure down side targets, especially on something like a drop from 200 to 5 or the like. a linear chart can give one a negative value.
